Mayor Daniella Levine Cava launches Virtual STRIVE305

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava recently announced the launch of Virtual STRIVE305, a virtual small-business incubator which provides on-demand classes to micro and small businesses in Miami-Dade County.

The launch was attended by over 100 participants, including newly elected vice chair Anthony Rodriguez and District 6 Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, as well as business owners and other key stakeholders.

“Today, we’re taking our support for small business to the next level by launching Virtual STRIVE305,” said Mayor Levine Cava. “Miami-Dade County has been ranked as one of the most recovered economies in the nation after the pandemic, and I truly believe there has never been a better time to be an entrepreneur in our community, but are working hard to make sure everyone gets to benefit from it.”

Virtual STRIVE305 is an online learning platform that will grow to contain a full library of cutting-edge online courses that give entrepreneurs the knowledge and skill-building opportunities they need to succeed. The platform addresses some of the key challenges entrepreneurs and small business owners face, such as access to capital, trainings, technical assistance and a community of interest. The virtual program will be available to all small and microbusinesses in Miami-Dade County at no cost and was created in partnership with StartUP FIU local, BizHack Academy, FemCity and Micro Business Catalyst.
