Daniella Levine Cava ha sido una incansable defensora de los residentes y comunidades del sur de la Florida durante casi 40 años.

Ella vino al sur de la Florida para unirse a su esposo, el Dr. Robert Cava, un nativo de Miami. Daniella y Robert criaron a dos hijos, Eliza y Edward, en Miami-Dade. Después de una década de trabajo como abogado con los Servicios Legales del Gran Miami y el programa Guardian Ad Litem, en 1996 la Comisionada Levine Cava fundó la Coalición de Servicios Humanos, ahora conocida como Catalyst Miami.
